Newton , MA , December 15 2007 – Shawn Cunniff , Founder of The Cunniff Group Cares, was joined by staff and volunteers to ring bells for the Salvation Army's traditional red kettle fundraiser at the Auburndale Shaw's on December 21, 2007.
The traditional red kettle fundraiser has become an integral part of the Christmas season as the Salvation Army continues to donate millions of dollars each year to needy families, seniors and the homeless. Those who participated in Saturday's event recognize the efforts the Salvation Army has made in their endeavor to aid those who are less fortunate.
The donations that people contribute to the Salvation Army aid in purchasing holiday necessities, such as clothes and toys for disadvantaged families. Basic necessities are also donated throughout the year from the financial assistance they receive. The Cunniff Group Cares joined the Salvation Army in an effort to make sure that the true meaning of the season is not forgotten.
The Cunniff Group Cares was extremely excited to contribute to the efforts of the Salvation Army and the work they do during the Christmas season. Everyone who helped had a positive and fulfilling experience. The Cunniff Group Cares hopes to continue to participate with increased involvement annually. About The Cunniff Group Cares
